DS2 (13 months) started coughing on Wednesday but yesterday afternoon his nose began running too and he started spiking temps (only of 37.8) overnight. This morning he had a massive bout of diarrhoeae, wouldn't eat and was very sleepy so I called our our of hours Drs at 8.45am.

They said they were very busy so the callback b a nurse may be outside of their usual 1 hour response time. In fact they called me back after 50 minutes and offered me an appointment with a Dr 30 minutes later.

My poor little man has been diagnosed with tonsilitis and now has some antibiotics to clear it up.

I am very impressed with NHS Wales this morning!
