discharge in nappy

hi!
over the last week or so I have noticed a brownish, occasionally mucussy (sp) spot or 2 in 6 month ds nappy which am assuming is from his penis as it is in the front part of nappy.
Anything to worry about? Is it worth a trip to the drs? It's not there every change but probably once a day at least.
