The preschool booster is at roughly 3 1/4 and the initial jab between 12-18 months.

DD just had her 1st jab at 3 years though

they wouldnt normally get one at this age. Has there been recent outbreaks of measles, etc in your area that would spur your health authority into doing the 2nd jab a bit earlier?

It says: MMR Hib Bstr MenC Booster Prevenar Booster

I'm clueless. No as far as I know there hasn't been any kind of outbreak. I'm sure he had his mmr one a while back?

Ds1 had his pre school booster at 3.2, and that was a bit early, there was a measles outbreak so they called people in. Sure the nurse said it was meant to be given between 3 and 5yrs. Is there a number on the letter you could ring?

Yes I think I'll ring now, in case it's a mistake. Thanks

They just rang me back, it WAS a mistake, he's not due any jabs til 2011. Good job I checked, then! Thanks all.

Yes, at least you had the sense to think it odd. I wonder how many people blindly follow those letters?

Makes you wonder. I don't know what would happen if a small child had double the correct amount of vaccine? might make them unwell. Pillocks.
