We have an appointment with the gp but I need some reassurance.

She is cuddling up to me in a nappy and shes had calpol and I've sponged her down with warmish water. What else can I do to get the temp down?

Is she drinking enough? Plenty of fluids is important. What time is your appointment?

The calpol should work within 30 - 60 minutes. Can also give her 2.5ml of Ibuprofen. I do 3 hourly calpol / Ibuprofen alternately.

Lots of fluids.

Hope she's ok x

She needs more than that - however, once the calpol kicks in, she may be tempted to take more.

Just got back from the drs and she has Broncilitis.(sp?) If she has not taken much fluid this afternoon we have got to go in to hospital.

I just wish that she would take more fluid than she is if I give her any more she spits it out.

Ds2 was hospitalised for bronchiolitis at 4 months. It is such hard work breathing that they can't cope with drinking as well.

Don't hesitate to call GP again if you are worried.

I've got her some baby juice that i will give her when she wakes up.

she is my 3rd DC but the boys never had any thing like this, I would have thought I would know what to do by now, probaly the lack of sleep.
