Polyp in daughters mouth - any experience?

She is 5 months old, I showed it to the doctor and he said just leave it a few months as shes to small to go under GA! She was about 10 weeks.

Shes now 20 weeks and its grown bigger, seems to have veins in it.

Im worried about it being uncomftabble for her now she is trying bits of food., and of the fact its bigger.

Is there an alternative to removing it under GA?? That terrifys me!

Don't know about polyps, but ds had an op at 10 weeks and was fine.
