DT's had their last pcv immunisation today at 2.30. DS started vomiting at teatime and hasnt stopped,he has fallen asleep exhausted in my arms ,hes even vomiting up water,he now has nothing in his system as he is refusing the water now so is now dry retching and waking himself up vomiting bile!!

DP says im over reacting by worrying, has anyone elses kiddies had this reaction?? He didnt react this way to previous ones??How long do i wait before calling docs or whatever or am i overreacting,is this just a side effect of the pcv vaccination??

call the doctor!!! or at least your health visitor/midwife, or maybe even the NHS helpline to get some advice. i don't have a child that age so have experience of this, but if he's not keeping even water down he might get dehydrated.
don't listen to your partner and follow your instincts!!

just seen that you posted this yesterday...hope everythings turned out ok today. let us know.

it is one of the side effects of PCV, but I would take him to the doctor to get him checked out.

Well ended up calling nhs24 after he vomited another 6 times after i posted all like 5-10 minutes apart. Took him up to be seen by doc who said it sounded more like a tummy bug than anythign to do with the jabs.
DP then took the same through the night, both dds are now down with it as is ds2 so out of a house of 7 of us we have 4 outta 5 kids down and 1 outta 2 adults !!!
I need to stay well till at least sunday as it is my hen night/day tomorrow !!!
