Was bathing my 18 week ds2 earlier and drying between his legs etc and noticed what i thought was fluff (like when you've wiped with cotton wool and get a bit left on skin) i pulled it gently and didnt come off

it looks as though it is actual hair ON him i have a 2.9 ds1 and his isnt hairy and wasnt as a baby and ive only noticed this today... Is this normal?? (i dont mean me, my ds2! )

My boy is almost 14 months and he is hairless but that's not say that having a bit of hair isn't ok. Best to speak to HV for a definite answer but I didn't want you to think no one on here cared.

Could it be that fluffy kind of down newborns sometimes have? I know he's 18 wks but perhaps it's lingering as it's a, erm, sensitive kind of place?!

My DS2 is 2 and is still really fluffy everywhere his back, bottom, tummy and bits are all fluffy the doctors said its becuase he was 3 weeks early and it would go within a few weeks of his birth but like i say he is 2 and it hasn't. I call him my little bear as he is really fluffy.

My ds has always been hairy - he has hairy legs, hairy back, hairy scrotum. He's 5 now, but has been like that for as long as I can recall. Dh is quite hairy - hairy chest and hairy shoulders, very hairy legs - so I assume ds just takes after him. Thank goodness it's fair though, not dark
