my ds 12 months old...

he is burnig but his temp is at 37.4

is this temp high normal what

he IS teething very runny nose sore bum bad cough and heavy breathing VERY GRUMPY

been to doc a few times over past few week n there worse than useless

its the temp thing im concerned about as he is burning ]

sorry your child is not well.
A normal temperature is between 36 and 37C. 37.4 is a v mild temperature and nothing to worry about. If he feels hot to touch it may be that his temperature had been higher and is now coming down in which case he will "radiate" heat to cool himself down.
Where and how did you measure temperature? Thermometer in mouth will measure sl less than, say, ear thermometer.

Give him regular Calpol, encourage him to drink.
If you are worried about his breathing you have no choice but to take him back to see his doctor.
Having said all that, children under 5 will pick up any number of viruses (8 colds/winter is normal) and can be v miserable for long periods of time.
If he is weeing, drinking, at times interested in playing, there is probably not a lot to worry about.

It is horrible when LOs are ill, I know, but this is how they build their immune system.
If you are worried, go see GP; you are his mother, you know him best.
