He's had itchy cheeks in the past, but since we started training on Saturday he's itching like mad and has drawn blood.

Any ideas? I'm not sure if it's just cos he can get to them, IYSWIM.

TIA

Have you put some antibac on the potty that is irritating perhaps? I cleaned DS's potty wiht babywipes.

I would put some sudocrem on him maybe?

No, nothing weird in the potty, I just rinse it out and wipe dry with loo roll.

I've been putting Sudocrem on, we'll see how it goes. Thanks.

my ds had something similar, i wondered at the time if it was the washing detergent, if they are out of nappies and in pants, it's the first time that area has been into direct contact with fabric iyswim.

ds's bum cheeks were red and spotty for a couple of weeks, then it kind of settled down.

Does he go to play group, nursery or anything like that?

I'm thinking WORMS!

Very common sadly, from my experience.

I thought about washing powder, but I used reusables for a while and it never caused a problem then. The rest of his skin has never reacted either.

Worms??? Would that make him itch his cheeks? He doesn't seem itchy round his anus (sorry TMI)

Sometimes co-ordination isn't the best....DD started scratching round the base of her spine and the tops of her cheeks, then I noticed the worms in the potty.

littlest Manky though, he scratches because he can
