'post viral rash' how long can it last?

DD went to the walk-in clinic on Tuesday with a cold and an all-over pin-prick rash. We were told she had a post-viral rash, which she's had once before but it only lasted one day.

She's had it for three days now, with no sign of it going away.
Should I wait, or see the doctor again? She still has her cold.

I'd hang on a bit - my nephew had a post viral rash which lasted about a week.
That said, if you're concerned it's getting any worse or your dd seems more than a little unwell with it, then obvously go back to the gp

DD had one recently and it lasted 4 days.

She just woke in the morning and it had gone.
