Hmmm, I think these are contagious. I'd first check it is a wart (look at some pics online). Then, well, there are various fluids or plasters you can use to treat it.

DD has one
The doc said that the virus is very very slow to go, about 2 years, after which they have immunity. He said there is no point in putting Bazuka or similar on other than for a cosmetic reason. And that they are not very contagious (he happily rubbed dd's)

Oh, I hadn't known that, CD, thanks. (DS2 got one on his foot, but picked at it until it fell out. It came back, he picked it out again. It didn't come back. )

If you wrap duct tape (yes, duct tape!) round the finger and keep it on - just change it once a week, the wart will go.

It has worked for me, DD and now DS!

None of us has had them again, yet!

DS had one for about 2 years from the same age in the same place. GP told us not to bother with it as it could go away of its own accord etc etc. but eventually it started to look really monstrous, stated spreading to other fingers and was begining to get caught on things so we bazukaad it. We didnt use the emery boards though just painted the stuff on every 2nd night or so and it went away very nicely and painlessly.

Get a dandelion, split the stem and rub the juice all over the wart.
Should be gone within a week.
My dd had terrible warts all over her fingers, tried everything, dr's no good, just kept giving us rubbish to try which didnt work.
Someone at a party told me about this, it worked and theyve never returned
