My DD who is 6 has 2 wobbly teeth, the 2 front ones. One is more wobbly and im sure will come out very soon but it's turning grey, is this normal?

Yes it can happen, doesn't always happen, depends on how long it is taking to wiggle loose... nothing to worry about

(at least, that's my non-medical opinion )

Yes,it is normal. As the root resorbes, the nerve can die off - so the tooth is technically dead - which gives the tooth the grey appearance!

My DS had this after falling over and landing on a toy, or more specifically a part of it which went straight between his lip and gum [wince]

It was a milk tooth and now it's grown back it's healthy and looks fine
