White discharge in dd's front bottom

Dd is 3 and I have noticed afew times that she has a small amount of white discharge in her bits and also sometimes a small rash around the front where her pants would be.
She does not wear nappies, only at night time so wondered if it may be because of the wee against her skin in her nappies? Also she is not a big drinker so cant get much fluid down her.

I did a google search but it brought some very weird stuff up that I did not want to read!

I would imagine it could be a bit of thrush.

That's just normal smegma - bacteria which builds up in that area - you have it to, you probably just haven't noticed it! So long as it's not itchy and doesn't smell bad, don't worry about it. But encourage her to wipe front to back to avoid spreading germs from her bum to her vulva anyway.

I had some canesten cream here but did not want to use in incase it was not or was too strong.
I have noticed that sometimes she does smell abit but I often find this after she has been at MIL's as they dont tend to wipe their bottoms after using potty. MIL does not like kids going upstairs by themselves so brings potties down so dd and her cousin can use them but no paper just wet wipes if had poo.

She does not appear to be scratching in that area so hopefully it is nothing too bad.

cargirl Whats strep A?
