After 10 months of hell with her hating food she's finally eating everything as long as it has flavour (i.e.no mash, bread or plain pasta). She's 17m now and loves anchovies, olives and as I found today salami. She only tried a bit from DH's plate, but I'm presuming its packed with salt? She's getting a very balanced diet so I'm not worried, but I love watching her try new things and don't want to stop her unless its deemed bad for her.
By the way, I don't eat red meat so I really don't know how salty it is.
