Hi, I've never posted here before but I am going out my mind with worry. about a month ago my 5 year old started walking with a limp and saying his thigh was sore, he mentioned he was running about and diving on the ground and that's when it got sore. I left it 2 weeks and he said it didn't hurt but he was still walking funny, but better so took him to the doctors. The doctors then referred him to the hospital, we waited 9 hours for them to tell us his bloods and x ray where clear and it was irritable hip. However, a few days later I got a later saying they noticed a minor abnormality in his left thigh, the one that was sore and to come and get it as x ray in 2 weeks.
We went today and the doctor said that they noticed a patch on his thigh bone on the 1st x ray and wanted to make sure it was gone. He has stopped limping and doesn't walk funny at all and says he not in any pain. I can't stop googling what the patch might be. I'm worried sick and can't stop crying.
Does anyone have any experience of this, would he stop limping even if he had something serious wrong with him?
