Red lump when crying.

I was wondering if anybody could help, i have my 8 week postnatel check next week so will ask then but just thought I'd see if anybody had any clues.

When my LO was born the midwife noticed that when she cries a small red lump appears between her eyebrows. Unless she's crying it isnt noticeable and don't think it bothers her, I'm just curious.

It's probably a bulging vein when she's crying. Does she get quite red in the face too? It's often more noticeable on pale skinned babies.
I don't think you need to worry but you could mention it to the HV or doctor.

Thank you HV told me to mention it at 8 week check and she does go quite red when worked up but is pale normally so that makes sense. Smile

She must cry with some gusto! Sod's law says she'll be as good as gold at the 8 week check and won't cry to demonstrate Smile.

Congratulations on your new daughter, hope the check goes well.

I would take a video of it with your mobile so you can show the gp.
Hopefully it's nothing to worry about but if you don't get it checked you will worry.
And yes it's sods law that they wont do what you need them to.
