Cryptosporidiosis - has your child had it?

Hi

My 5 yr old DS has just been diagnosed with this. We don't know how long he's had it - he had a bad stomach nearly 7 weeks ago but he recovered well, except for the occasional watery poo. Then he'd be fine again. After the third reoccurrence, we had tests.

It says it shouldn't last longer than a month, but it has. Has this happened to yours? I feel crappy that we might have infected other kids in the class. I'm also concerned that he's now off for the foreseeable.

Anyway - any thoughts, tips?
