My 8 year old has been complaining of an itchy bottom. I shone a torch up last night and saw a worm wriggling around (and managed to pull it out... Still feel sick at the thought of it). Sorry TMI. Waiting for chemist to open. Anyone know how quickly the medicine stops the itching? Ta.

A couple of days, the whole family need to take the meds to.

We've had them so many times in our house I've lost count!

You need to damp dust everywhere, hot wash bedding, towels and make sure hands are clean.

My dd (10yo) has them again Sad we have struggled to get rid of them this year despite doing all of the above. I blame nail biting and the ridiculous amount of soft toys dd has!

I would recommend taking second dose 2 weeks after the first and treat the whole family.
