bed wetting

Just wondering if anyone has any success stories they can share about going from wetting the bed 3x every night, to not bed wetting?

And how long did the process take & what the enuresis clinic said/ recommended?
DD is 8, and we've got appt to see nurse next week. She often wets and doesn't wake up, just sleeping on whilst soaking wet Sad

Usually she's in pull ups, and often soaks through those, soaking the sheet & duvet as well. We've been told to ditch the pull ups for a bit, and it's getting her (& me) down a bit.

Obvs I don't let her know how I feel, but 3x sheets, duvet & pillow soaked in urine every night for me to wash is difficult. The other day I'd only just washed & dried the quilt, put it on the bed and within 1 hour it was soaking.

Please- tell me your hints, tips & success stories!

Thank you! Flowers
I have a train journey tomorrow so I'll have a read through all that.

Very struck by first post- doctors always comment on how big DDs tonsils are...

I used Rodger bed wetting pants for my DS. They were expensive but worth it, went from wet every night to completely dry in a couple of weeks, and he's never wet the bed once in the 1.5 years since.

Hopefully they will prescribe desmopressin and that will help. DS had issues until he was 14 so good luck. She is not the only one. White Company waterproof sheets slthough expensive are the best I found.

My DS is nearly 10. He's on desmopressin and he's doing really well on it. He was like your dd but now he's dry most nights.
