Had my DD's ears done about the end of Febuary
Having bother with one though after a week one ear was bumped was a little bit swollen went down after a day or two took them out after 3 weeks (yes brought the 3 week treatment saw me coming lol ) after i keep cleaning with salt solution and kept them in
The earring then one night came out I got it back in with a bit of bother though couldn't get it through the back
I've changed them since but haven't been touching them but I've noticed they get quite dirty at the back of earring (butterfly) I clean them when I see it but tonight the ear we have probs with bled a bit at the back

Is this dirt normal and with the bleeding did I disturb a scab
Doesn't always bleed just the odd time

I thought they had to be kept in for at least 6 weeks.

I wish I had but cause I went to Claire's there's new stuff 3 week treatment was supposed to heal them quicker that's how I stopped and used the salt water instead

I'd say leave em in and just gently bathe them with salt water once or twice per day

The 3 week stuff is described as hypochlorite, which I think is a short form of sodium hypochlorite (ie Milton fluid). I wouldn't put it on any open wound, but presumably isn't dangerous (or it couldn't be sold).

Changing to cleaning with saline is the right thing to do, as is leaving them alone until they're all normal.

Been using the salt soak and haven't touched them at all for the past few days but noticed the backs again are bleeding slightly but the fronts are ok
DD says there not itchy sore etc and they don't look swollen
Is it possible that they have not healed or when I was changing them could they have moved in a different direction ie off centre
I'm heading in to the place we got them done on Saturday
Any advice
