DD, 2 years, threw up in her bed at 8, bathed and changed, then she threw up again in our bed, bathed again. Was complaining of being sore so tried calpol, threw up again immediately. Sitting watching peppa pig while she sips water, I'm thinking stay up til we've had at least a clear hour or two. Any better ideas?
I think it's food poisoning as we had prawns with dinner.

Put layers of towels on the bed or sofa wherever she is sleeping. Have black bin bags ready to chuck the layer of towels in. If in bed, put towels under the sheet too. Plenty of bowls nearby. Plus a capped beaker/bottle of water to sip, tissues, antibac handwash (in case it's a bug), remote/book, clean PJs etc.

Hope she's better soon.

I don't mean you throw away the towels btw. Just bagged up to contain smells/mess before you have chance to wash them.

Thanks Saul, vom free night after that.
She's eating a wee bit too much this morning. Hope there's no repeat.

But late now, but we use those disposable change mats to catch the worst of the vomit (we use them in the car too, when DD is feeling carsick). Otherwise, echo lots of towels and when I get any warning, I whip away our king size duvet and replace with singles, as they are easier (and cheaper) to clean. The king sized one cost me £17 last time

I'm glad she was okay overnight. If it was a touch of food poisoning, generally it's finished with once they've thrown up the offending food ime. I hope that's it for you.
