Lactose intolerant 6 month old

Any one have any experience of lactose intolerance in a baby. My 6 month old has just been diagnosed (not sure if thats the right word) with it. She is having a trial of a special prescribed milk and it seems to be working!

While i am happy we have found a cause to the constant crying and sickness im not quite sure what it means. I have got an appointment with gp next week to discuss.

are you sure its lactose intolerance and not cows milk protein intolerance as they are both different things. What milk is she having now?
