ranitidine and domperidone for reflux

My 12-week old son has been prescribed the above for reflux. He has never seemed to be in any discomfort but has always been a big vomiter and this seems to be getting worse. We're not yet 24 hours into the meds, but it seems he's bringing up even more of his milk than before. Might this be a reaction to the drugs? Has anyone experienced similar? Obviously the idea was that he'd vomit less not more...any words of wisdom/advice?

Sorry to hear your little one isn't well; reflux is no fun. Best to speak to your GP or consultant if you are concerned (assuming they know their onions when it comes to reflux). I have no experience of vomiting reflux (my DD had silent reflux), but there is a FB group run by the UK reflux charity that I found very helpful //www.facebook.com/groups/livingwithreflux/ and plenty of people in your position posting there. For what it's worth, ranitidine took a few days to start working with my DD. Hope this helps.
