Teeth question

My dd is almost 4 and still has 5 teeth to come through. They show no sign of coming through.

She was 14-15 months old before she cut her 1st tooth.

We have been to the dentist who hasn't said much about it.

Could a child be born without the buds to grow teeth iygwim

DS had a tooth missing so yes, that can happen, it is rare though and, sometimes, runs in the family (I have a deformed tooth in the same spot as did DF).

However, every child's teeth come in at different rates so, if the dentist isn't worried, you don't need to be either.
