Virus Rash or allergy?

Hi,

Am wanting advice.

My DD 6yrs woke up with rash on top part of body and blotchy face. She was itchy as well, gave her Pirition as thought maybe she had allergic reaction to something. Pirition helped but took to Gp for further advice.

He wasn't sure if it was allergy or a virus.

If it is an allergy how long will it be before rash goes away as I forgot to ask the Gp this?

I think the rash is spreading slightly but may be because I'm parnoid.

She is fine otherwise, but have feeling school might not like her back if it is uncertain what it is.
