He has started to read books by himself, and has read some Roald Dhal books, and is currently reading the first Harry Potter book.

Can anyone recommend soe nice books for him that their 6/7 year old likes/d to read, pictures aren't necessary.

TIA

Dinosaur Cove

Magic Treehouse(maybe too easy now but my ds6 loved them and they're quite educational)

some Jeremy Strong books

Secret Seven(he adored these)

Famous 5(he's read the 1st 2 which are harder than Secret 7 but he loves them just as much)

Flat Stanley

The Wishing Chair Stories

I've just received The Magic Children series by Sally Gardner, the Oliver Moon series and Enid Blytons Adventure series. I loved the latter (sadly too battered now for ds) and the former 2 look really good.

I got them all from Redhouse/Book People.

Forgot to say DS is also hankering the Charlie Small series as well as Spiderwick,we won't be eating though if I buy them this month
