My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music

Food Glorious Food from Oliver (or maybe the soppier Whererere is Love is more appropriate for night-time)

Do you have the album "Free to Be You and Me"? It's from the 70s and is dated in some ways, but also a classic. I'm sure it's out there for download, and if I recall correctly a lot of the songs are very singable.

It takes a bit of getting used to, but have you tried singing her any of her favourite stories? My DD got obsessed with us singing her stories - we laughed at first, but it's quite nice with the simple ones (I've just sung her 'Polar Bear Polar Bear What Do You Hear' using my own made-up tune). Mind you if she's 7 her stories will be a tad more complex I suppose.
