Black cat book character for World Book Day?

DD is insisting on dressing up as a black cat for WBD but won't go as Cat in the Hat. Am buying a cheap cat costume off ebay so want to make a bit of extra effort rather than just send her in wearing that. I had found some black leggings and a black top to put together myself but it cost the same to buy a ready-made outfit.

Can anyone suggest a black cat based character?
