what else would he likely enjoy? He's either read/tried/watched the Maze Runner and Hunger Games series. He's a reluctant reader and needs to be grabbed by a book early on, but once he finds sth he loves he won't put it down. He's almost 13 and bright. Thank you for any recommendations.

Try him on the Ranger ' s Apprentice series by John Flanagan. More fantasy than horror but very readable.
