a few years ago I was pushing my little lady in her pram into town, I walked into a shop and someone said "whats that meowing?" after looking around, the little meowing was coming from the basket underneath the seat on the pram....yep our little kitten snook onto the pram and fell asleep...ooopsie!

I came down stairs one morning to find the normally wall-fixed radiator lying flat on the floor in a lake of water and our golden retriever Cassie was nowhere to be seen. I thought we had been burgled and the burglars had stolen our dog so screamed for my husband. We searched downstairs but couldn't find anything missing apart from the dog. Suddenly we heard a muffled whimper and discovered Cassie under the stairs at the very back behind the curtain and the hoover and ironing board and piles of junk - she had never done this before. We eventually worked out that she must have been sleeping under the radiator, stood up leaning against it and unhooked it from the wall where it bent and crashed to the floor frightening her into looking for somewhere safe to shelter!!! Dogs eh!!! :)

My youngest cat, Dee, is always getting into weird places but I don't have a photo of her being a numpty.

We have three cats, three chickens, and two dogs. The chickens like to escape and visit our neighbours, the cats vary between the tumble drier, the laundry basket, behind the built in cupboard in my bedroom, and ds's toybox. The dogs just like to tuck themselves up in a human bed

We often find our cats in strange places, but Lola (age 2) loves a bag!

We used to have three guinea pigs named Burt, Ernie and Chao.

My darling boy let them all out of their indoor hutch, soon after we'd got them, and they scurried around the living room scared while he laughed.

We found Ernie and Chao easily. Ernie was hiding behind the sofa and Chao was hiding behind the printer on the floor.

Burt, on the other hand, was a pain. We searched and searched but couldn't find him.

Just before picking up everything in the living room me and the(now) ex heard Burt squeaking,looked at each other and then down to the TV unit. We opened the low drawer on it together to find Burt had climbed behind and got himself up into the drawer

I don't have photographic evidence, but in our first house there was a ~4 inch gap between our garden wall and next door's. DCat must have slipped whilst walking along the wall, fell down and got stuck halfway down, wedged by her fat little belly. We had to knock a hole (in our wall rather than next door's) to get her out after we eventually found where the indignant wails were coming from. She was cross and embarrassed in roughly equal proportions.

Our gorgeous old doggy .. the Late Great Tetley Bear (who we sadly lost earlier this year to very old age ... he was almost 19!!) was one for going everywhere he shouldn't. He once snook under the decking in the back garden and spent the best part of a day under there - which had us all in a total paddy as we thought he was stuck. However ... this proved to be a bonus when next doors rabbit escaped and went under the decking - after sitting and whining by the decking for almost an hour our neighbour shouted to say he'd lost the rabbit and we deduced that she must've been under there. Tetley was very gentle with other animals and we sent him under to coax her out - which worked a treat ... this amongst other things made him a total 'hero!' A much deserved posthumous award!

Funniest place for the Collie X was when he got accidentally shut in our dressing room, spent a very panicked half an hour searching the house and garden until we heard a ridiculously gentle woofing from upstairs. He looked very sheepish upon his release!

The Border Terrier likes to sneak upstairs and sleep not only on the bed but on top of the pillows on the bed, he's a bit of a princess

When I was a child I once found my big, fluffy cat fast asleep in the bedroom of the guinea pig hutch with my guinea pig snuggled in next to him! They were both the same ginger-brown colour so when I first opened the door I thought for a split second that the guinea pig had become a giant! I got such a shock and we never could work out how he'd got there as the door was shut!

My cat, Moral, (there is a reason for his name, honest!) is 10 years old but it hasn't stopped him from investigating anything which resembles a bag! When he was younger he would climb into a carrier bag and we would hang this on a door handle and he would stay there for hours if we let him. He would look over the edge of the bag and be quite content to watch everyone. He hasn't lost his spirit of adventure as you can see from the photos. Anything he can climb into and he is there before you can stop him! He also likes to chew plastic which poses a problem with plastic bags! He once climbed into a black rubbish bag and almost ended up in the bin!

when I was a child, a neighbour from down the street came to our door to report to my Dad that she had been alarmed to find our huge ginger cat Robin in her pantry. He'd entered via her cat flap and chased away her kitten. My dad promised to "speak to Robin when he got in..."

We used to have a hamster who would escape fairly regularly, and we always found him under the shower with a pair of chew-up, stolen knickers as a bed!

When I was a child we had a pet tortoise. One day when I was leaving my aunts house a couple of streets away I found the tortoise walking down the road towards me.

I have 9 cats so they are always turning up in weird and wonderful places. This is one of our cats, Kiara, who likes our bathroom.

Our family dogs, teddy and Red are pretty plain when it comes to where we find them (Usually in front of the fire, on the bed or on the sofa)

However, when I was a student my housemate bought a hamster. Said hamster escaped from its cage and we spent the next 4 weeks putting food around the house trying to lure it back into its cage. We didn't find and we sadly gave up.

Fast forward another month and were all eating fajitas i the living room. My friend drops a bit of her wrap and a huge ball of dusty fur scurries to the middle of the room, eats the wrap, mocks us a little and then just waits to be picked up and put in his cage.

I have no idea how he had survived, or why he was so large now as he hadn't eaten the food we had left out but he was there, he was fat and he really needed a wash!

One day my mum had been baking and when it was teatime she opened the cupboard door to find our cat curled up on top of the apple pie. Needless to say we had no dessert that day and the cat certainly didn't get the cream.

One day our new kitten disappeared. We searched for her everywhere and suddenly, there she was, curled up fast asleep, in my toddler son's potty. Luckily it was empty at the time!

When I was a child we had a hamster, called Henry, that kept escaping from his cage. Once we found him behind the bath panel and had to tempt him out with food. Another time he got under the door of the coal shed and I got covered in coal dust rescuing him. We both needed a bath afterwards!

We only have fish - pleased to say they've never escaped. Our neighbour's (gorgeous & v docile) cat does seem to enjoy being 'babied' by our kids though, including being pushed around in their dolls' pram!
