Non-fiction recommendations for reluctant 10 year old reader (ds)

Ds can read perfectly well - but generally prefers not to!

In the past he has read (now quite childish, and pitched at younger readers) Osborne books on baby animals, sharks etc and enjoyed them.

He generally likes reading about the natural world - but there may be other non-fiction that piques his interest

What have you found to be good?

Thanks

Guinness Book of Records for Christmas always went down well.

My similar DS did like the Willard Price Adventure stories, old fashioned but with lots of facts about wildlife. I think some new ones were commissioned from a new author in the last few years so they would be more up to date.

Dorling Kindersley have lots of good looking non-fiction books.
