looking for books for 6/7 yr old with the names in Callum or Poppy

trying to find good books for Christmas and thought it would be nice if the characters name was their name iyswim! So looking for Callum and Poppy. Don`t like those books you can order to include their name, they are often not very good quality. Thanks!

There's a range of books called princess poppy by Janey Louise Jones (some picture books and some chapter books I think) but they are pretty 'meh' (IMO)

if you go to Amazon and select childrens books then type in Poppy you can then choose the age range and there are a few that come up (some will be author called poppy so you will have to check but might give some ideas). It looks like there is a Brambley Hedge character called poppy and I love the pictures in those books.

Usborne Apple Tree Farm books have a girl called Poppy in them.

But they might be a bit young for a 6/7yo.

Callum is trickier! What about the Katie Morag books?

Callum and Amy are the children in The Lonely Sea Dragon by Helen Dunmore.

You could have books made for them. DD has an unusual-ish name and I bought her "my adventures with..." Books when she was younger. She still treasures them now, and we read the Christmas one evey Christmas Eve. You get to make the books with you child's name as the main character, and also add siblings, pets etc.

We have the "My Special Christmas Adventure" that is on the site linked to. We found it in a charity shop and DD and I both love it even though it's about a child called Reuben and is not personal to her at all. I'm thinking about ordering the fairies one for her.

we have the disney fairies one with my daughters names in (they have their own copy each) and they love them. they are good quality and nice little books.
