I hope this is the best place for this if not could someone move it or tell me where it should be and I'll re-post there and wipe this thread.

I'm looking for suggestion for books that will be good for mum or dad to do some basic cooking with there kids (mix of boys and girls aged 3-11) not just sweet thing like cakes but silly little things like scotch eggs and simple things like that.

I don't mind buying either online or on the high street, just so long as it's not too hard for the kids.

I learned to cook with an ancient version of this Usbourne cookbook for children. I still use it now I'm an adult with children of my own. It's got plenty of savoury recipes that make actual meals.

DS has an Annabel Karmel one that's pretty good but I can't find it just now.

Will second the Usborne book. DS has learned to cook using the boys version and we all like the meals too Smile

I have one called Baking for Tiny Tots, good on the whole although I think some of the recipes could have done with a little more testing.
