Wild about Books by Judy Sierra and some of Emily Gravett's books such as Little Mouse's Big Book of Fears and Wolves are the ones I can immediately think of

Isnt there one as well called Don't You Dare Read This Book?

We just read a picture book called something like Have You Ever Ever or I Have Never Never which is about all the stories you can find in the library.

Found it - Mungo and the picture book pirates

There's a preschool one about a boy who reads a pirate story and becomes part of it. Someone else might remember the name?

Inkheart (maybe too old? I would think plenty of 9 y/os would like it)
There's an old one called Jane's Adventures In and Out of the Book

Apricots at Midnight - not about books, but a young girl has a quilt made by her great aunt, and each square has a story, which she tells her.

I'm looking to compile a list of picture books and books for younger children (e.g under 10) that have books or reading as a main theme. So far, I have:

Charlie Cook's Favourite Book
The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore
Winston the Book Wolf
The Book Eating Boy
Dog Loves Books
Hannah the happily ever after fairy (Rainbow Magic)
Lulu Loves the Library
Lulu Loves Stories

I'm sure there must be loads more. Could you please share with me any you can think of? Thank you.
