He is going through the poo, wee, naked fascination phase at the moment. He is autistic, about 18 months behind developmentally. He is a very competent reader. I want to get him a simple child's book about the human body - any recommendations for something that would suit a 4 to 6 year old, comprehension ability wise that's about where he is.
We have the Usbourne one. It is great.
We have this Usborne one which looks slightly different from the other. It has a picture of someone doing a poo, which both DSs (5 and 2) love...

i'm not a big fan of the Usborne body books because they show little people doing the jobs in the body which just confuses children I feel. My dd has a great book called 'My pop-up body book' by Jennie Maizles which is fantastic and explains everything really well, with lots to pull out.

Ruthchan's Body book is from the Look Inside series which is aimed at 3+, BlueEyeshadow's is from the See Inside series which is for 6+. Hope that helps.
DD (6) got the See Inside one when she was five, and she is currently obsessed with the page with the poo. It has definitely been a winner, and she has a number of different body books.
