I sometimes get them used from Amazon - but ours all fairies and princesses...

We use a lot of audio books for our ds as he is an early riser.
We get the majority from our local library as they are quite expensive.
We have bought from amazon as well though.
I haven't looked on ebay for them yet but imagine there are some there too.
My ds's favourites are:
Johnny Morris
Paddington
Roddy Doyle
He has just turned 6.

Anything from Naxos (CD company) is usually brilliant, but maybe a little old for your ds...we gets loads from ebay!!

He also loved "The Cat Who Wanted To Go Home" by Gill Tomlinson iirc.

DS (7) will only listen to Roddy Doyle's "The Giggler Treatment" and went through a phase of having it on every bedtime! It was lovely hearing him laughing out loud as it is very funny and very well read.
