recommend a collection/treasury for 4.5 year old

We are going on holiday for 2 weeks soon and I would like to buy a collection of stories in a single book for DD's bedtime stories. She is coming up 4.5 and she enjoys longer stories but we have not quite reached chapter books as she wants me to read the entire book rather than waiting for the next night (I often read like this so I can see where she is coming from!).

Any recommendations?

DD used to be exactly like this, I used to have a good collection of books with one story per chapter! I generally went for books about one character IYKWIM but with a standalone story for each chapter

Old favourites if you don't have them:
Milly Molly Mandy is definitely a standalone story per chapter
IIRC so is Teddy Robinson but you might want to check before buying (also one of my favourite books ever for this age group :) )

Newer one:
Anna Hibiscus by Atinuke, each story is a good length for bedtime and also excellent pictures
