Book where the siblings are boys?

I'm looking for a book for my 3 year old boy who is soon to become a big brother. He is convinced that the new baby arriving is a girl and insists that it must be a sister. The person who did my last scan said 'he' although I didn't ask to know the sex, so I'm pretty sure it's a boy. I think that lots of books seem to be about siblings who are a mix of boys and girls (e.g. Alfie and Annie Rose, a current favourite). Does anyone know of any where there is a baby boy and the older sibling is also a boy?

has he seen 'charlie bit my finger' on you tube? He may find it funny - it's very sweet!

Ha ha. I've seen it! I have an awful feeling that may be how it turns out in the end. He's very gentle.

Do you want a book that explains your pregnancy to him? If so, 'There is a House inside my mummy' by Giles Andreae and Vanessa Cabban features a boy whose mum has another little boy.

It is a little bit twee but not totally vomititous....

Didn't realise There's a House inside my mummy had a boy. Might try that, but he seems to have a good understanding of the pregnancy and often wants to play a game where I am the midwife and he is having a baby

I have There's a House Inside my Mummy and I'm A Big Brother! and also, New Baby. All three from Amazon. My ds loves them. We always point out "mummy, daddy, baby, ds" and he loves it. Even asks for the "mummy, daddy, baby" book at bedtime. He is only 22 months and is totally getting the idea of it.

Forgot to say, we are expecting a baby brother for ds. All these books are suitable for this as the baby is kept quite adrogynous.

The baby in the Large Family books is a boy - mind you he's also an elephant, which may confuse your DS further.

Is he old enough to have My Brother's Famous Bottom (Jeremy Strong) read to him?

I have to say that my son (and I) adored "There's a house inside my mummy". It is totally perfect for a brother who is going to have a little brother and the toys drawn etc are very similar to the ones our son loved most just before his brother was born.
It is totally charming (I think) and there are lots of things to talk about.
Good luck!
