Note: Please bear in mind that this is a discussion board, not a place to advertise childcare vacancies or recruit childminders/nannies etc. We don't mind the odd mumsnet regular mentioning that they're looking for a job/mindee (although you're probably better off in MN Local) but repeated job "ads" and posts from nanny/babysitting agencies aren't fair to people who are paying for small business ads. Do feel free to report any you see. Thanks, MNHQ.

Hi,
Is anyone looking for a nanny in Liverpool?
We're still looking for a part-time nanny for 3 days a week- but wanted to say that we also would love to find another family for a nannyshare in the NW11 area in London (Golders Green / Temple Fortune / Hampstead Garden Suburb). If we were to arrange a nannyshare, we would then be looking to hire someone, potentially, for more hours per week & at a better rate, so it's beneficial for all, I feel. If there's any families who are thinking of hiring a nanny in that area & want to reduce the cost (or even discuss the implications of a nannyshare) please get in touch & we'll have a chat about it.
nanny wanted - North London
I'm looking for a part-time nanny to pick up my daughter from school in Crouch End (at 3.10) and look after her til 6.30/7 4 days a week (we live a ten min walk downhill!). I would be looking for a degree of flexibility so that if there were a crisis at work, you could work a bit later, and maybe if it were possible if she is off sick (but totally understand that this would depend on your schedule). I suggest an hourly rate so that you would be appropriately compensated for extra hours.
My daughter is 6, and is really easy going. I am a single parent, and consequently, she is great with grown-ups and at entertaining herself. I'm not looking for someone to over-stimulate her - I just want her to come home and be safe and warm at the end of each day.
Responsibilities
I would be looking for you to bring her home/ go to the park, give her supper, and bath her.
I'd be keen for you to read with her for ten minutes or so
I would also want you to change her bed sheets once a week, hang out her washing occasionally and clear up after supper - I definitely don't expect you to do any extra chores per se.
I expect her to tidy up at the end of the day, and would be looking for you to help with that (ie - give a helping hand, but get her to be responsible for her own mess!)
Please get in touch if this sounds like something you might be interested in. Rates negotiable.
We are in Reigate - looking for someone who would like to nanny share with us from March / April 2010 (probably 3 or 4 days per week), when my daughter will be 9 months old.
Alternatively I'd be interested to hear from any nannies who will be looking for a new / additional charge from this time.
I am looking for a childminder or nanny share to start around Easter to look after my daughter who will be 9 months old. I live in Blackheath but will be working in Dulwich so either area would suit. I need her to be looked after from around 7.30am - 2pm Monday - Friday.

We're a friendly family in N2 (East Finchley) looking for a sole-care nanny for 4 days a week (not Wednesdays, although occasional help might be needed!).
Our current nanny is leaving after 3.5 years and we are looking for someone fun, enthusiastic and loving to look after our DD (nearly 2) all day, and DS (4, already at school) from 3.30pm.
Hours are approx 8.30-6.30, although some flexibility is needed. The position involves taking and collecting DS to/from school, looking after DD through the day, cooking meals for the children, light child-related housework (we have a cleaner twice a week) and generally helping out with keeping the family ticking over
We are looking for someone:
- with a driving license
- who has minimum 2 years childcare experience (sole charge or nursery)
- who is frienly and outgoing
- who can cook (!)
- who will enjoy organising arts & crafts activities for the children as well as playdates etc
Starting as soon as possible please - either pre or post-xmas. 4 weeks holiday/year (with Xmas forming either 1 or 2 weeks of this). Please contact me on lauravjoseph@hotmail.com or CAT me. Thanks
