Yes, sorry. I had a show at 38 weeks and went 2 weeks over, BUT midwife said that was an exceptional case, which means that chances are IT WON'T HAPPEN TO YOU!

And if not, then soon you can start on the rhubarb (I am a third generation rhubarb baby!), pineapple, and it was raspberry leaft tea TABLETS (tea was no good) that got me going!

Hang tight, sweetie, really isn't long now!!

I gained about 3 stone worth of water weight due to hypertension and swelling. Went to 38 weeks, 3 days during the hottest summer on record in the UK - 2003. I wasn't doing my walking or standing for the fortnight before that.

My entire body was swollen. People who met me when I was pregnant thought I'd been very overweight when I conceived. My calves were so bad I shuffled rather than walked and I had awful 'pitting' - even in my arms!

It was not fun, even if it's worth it in the end.

Well, first was induced (re-eclampsia), second lasted 44 hours BUT was virtually painless, third was about three hours and pretty mild.

So fingers crossed!

I worry about whether I could do the pregnancy thing again, but labour? No probs! Chances are good for you too
