I reckon you'll be in labour by tomorrow

As soon as you get to the end of this piece of string! she said helpfully waving arms around manically.

cackle

seriously, my two labours showed no rhyme nor reason in their timings. I hope it starts when you are ready and all goes well. Very exciting times for you, good luck!

I've had from within five hours from where you are now to three days later from where you are now. But something is definately happening - the best of luck, and let us know!

Just been for walk so hopefully that will kick things off - normally quite patient but just have none at the moment

Tried the curry - no join, also drinking rasberry leaf tea. Does anyone else just think that we are giving ourselves a false sense of control trying these things and that baby will arrive when good and ready ?

I'm in Ireland and the difference in care is huge - very hospital based and quite interventionist - this is the country that invented the episiotomy after all !! Anyone who attempts homebirth is seen as a total hippy/weirdo - women in the UK seem to have much more say
