Yay another mooncup thread! Title says it all really. I had a c-section almost three months ago.

Thanks!

Well as a general rule, as soon as you get your six month check and signed off and your periods return, you can go back to using any form of sanitary protection - mooncups included. You are actually better off having had a section in this respect. Vaginal deliveries can still be recovering at 3 months post partum (I'm also a member of the catflap club but my periods just didn't bother to come back - hurrah!)

You shouldn't use internal sanitary protect for lochia but it is fine to use for your first period.

What's the catflap club? Sounds painful. Do you mean three month check wmmc? Have just got my period now.

Yes, the catflap club is for those whose babies have come out the catflap rather than the regular way

I didn't have a three month check, just a six week one. Depends where you live but yep you are fine to use your moonie.

Oh I did mean six weeks and so did you! Baby-brain strikes again. Yes, like the idea of a catflap club, otherwise known as the sunroof or honeymoon fresh club...
