I've posted before that I am suffering from severe spd/pgp and have been offered an induction at 37 weeks

I was also induced at 37 weeks with my last baby

Now tbh as long as the baby is 'cooked' I'm quite keen to have it a bit early as I am really suffering at the moment!

But are there any reasons why this might not be a good idea? I know a lot of people are keen to avoid induction and I assume that's because it can make labour harder but are there any other reasons? Anything detrimental to the baby?

Any views/opinions welcome

Far less likely to work at 37 weeks, baby much more likely to need special care at 37 weeks if it naturally would not be arriving for another three or four weeks, especially if you end up having a cs for a failed induction.
