this is not for labour but didn't know where to post. It is for long term back pain which is why I am buying.

What I want to know is if it is worth paying out for an expensive one or if the cheaper ones work fine. I'm considering Elle at around 60 pounds because it is NCT & NHS recommended.

Can anyone recommend or advise to avoid any other makes please.

i have heard (by the man in boots) that the cheaper ones are simply not worth having which is why i rented one for labour as they are of the more expensive variety. if for a long term problem i would splash out on a more expensive one if you can afford it

Thanks for the advise nowwearefour. Thats what I was thinking.

I've seen one that you can rent for 24.95 for 3 weeks and then you can buy after 3 weeks taking off the rental you've paid. Total 50 pounds, which a good idea for me to try. I've heard it works for some people and not others, I am worried I'm going to get addicted to pain killers so would like to try something else.
