This has happened twice now: I go for 41 week appointment at the hospital, get scanned and the midwife tells me that I have virtually no waters and that I need to come in for an induction the next day. When the midwife goes to break my waters (the first time to induce labour, the second time while I'm pushing during a spontaneous delivery), nothing happens.
My dd (second baby) had to stay in hospital for 24 hours to be observed for infection because I didn't know when my waters had gone. The midwives were pretty incredulous - 'what you didn't even feel a trickle?' And I felt a bit foolish?
So what happens? Has anyone had a similar experience?
