EARLY LABOUR ADVICE TO KEEP THINGS GOING PLS

Pg with my 2nd and I've had a 2nd sweep and i'm 2 to 3 cm dialated, as soon as had second sweep i had contractions every 5 mins got really painful especially down below where i had the familiar pulling and stretching feeling. They died down a bit but still had tightenings. Now they've picked up again but not getting the pulling feeling. Just back and cramp and bloody tight.

Can someone give me tips to keep things going? I was walking around garden which brought back pains and now on birthing ball.

Sounds like you are doing well!
Try googling "active labour". IIRC you should just keep active then once you are getting regular pains try and chill out for a while. Have something light to eat and keep going for a wee

Good Luck!

Its frustrating when it died down. However its getting really tight again but i'm not really in pain. Just uncomfy. Lol

I'm just so desperate to get baby out. I so hope it kicks off tonight.

Why did the pain die off but lots of tightenings is it where i'm moving about?

tis really good to help ripen the cervix and an orgasm can strenthen contractions

tell him it is his husbandly duty, he put the baby in there, he is obliged to help get the baby out !

The only thing that worked for me was an orgasm. Wasn't in a fit state for sex though!
