Can anyone offer any advice please?

I had my dd in Nov 03 by elect cs as she was in funny position.

In April 05 I was induced and delivered naturally a 25 week old stillborn dd.

I am pg again and am desperate to give birth naturally to a live baby.

Its my third though I have not giveb birth naturally at full term before.
Ia it likley to be more like a first baby?

Thanks

Not nessecarily, it will have to be in hospital rather than a birthing centre. What does your midwife say?

am very very sorry you lost your DD..

have you had any specialist help or bereavement support at the time or after?

as you have labour and delivered, even though it was early, your body will remember, abnd know what to do, please god, at full term

have you thought about having a doula, to support you before ,during and after the birth

it will be a very emotional ride, througout, and you need extra support and care

i wish you a healthy, happy and full term pregnancy, with a healthy baby at the end of it

Thanks

I am going to get some counselling.I did not want to arrange anything until after the 25th week as thought whats the point of discussing everything if it was to happen again.

My midwife is very good but I have had lots health probs to date so not discussed the birth yet.

Thanks for kind words

Hi, so sorry to read about the loss of your dd. I can sympathise as my second dd was stillborn at 41wk+5d following an induced vaginal delivery. I also had a CS with my 1st dd. I have not had a further pregnancy but was told by my midwife that most obstetricians would want to deliver slightly prior to term by CS if I became pregnant again. Obviously, my experience is slightly different to yours in that I was allowed to go so overdue and then my baby died so any obstetrician would not like a pregnancy to go on that long again in case the outcome were the same. If an obstetrician were wanting to deliver early then they would not like to induce a previous CS so another CS would be the only real option. This may not be the same for you so I would advise discussing your own particular circumstances with your carers. Best of luck to you and please get in touch if you want to chat further xxx
