Due second baby today- predictable anticlimax so far!
I have been xmas shopping at westfield,
Eaten halfway through my advent calender,
Been on the phone about toddlers bad behavior at nursery- could really do without that today!
Talked to bump and requested she comes out when shes ready but preferably soon.
Better clean up the house- in case something does happen!

Feeling a bit sorry for myself. Last time round much better : had sweep with midwife then lunch with ( nervous) best friend

What did you do?

I'm 40+3 with my second. So very bored now. I can't do much due to hip and back pain but managed short walks. I have midwife appointment in an hour so hopefully she'll do a sweep and tell me if there is any progress. I'm getting a lot of braxton hicks.

Go for a walk. I did gardening every day waiting for #2, but that was June so far more appealing!

No! Sweep on friday made me feel bit shakey and sick but no contractions. Baby only 1/5 engaged. Booked for induction at 41+1 , which is coming round rather quickly. Boo :( feels like history could repeat itself. Induction then section with first , never really descended.

Can you request not being induced until 42 weeks?

I was booked in for an induction at 42+1 with my last baby, but the little bugger decided to appear on the morning of 42 weeks.
