Currently on induction ward have been here since yesterday morning just over 24 hours now I know that isn't much but i can't handle anymore. The prostin pains are unbearable I'm waiting to be examined again at 12 but if nothing has changed and they want to insert another one can I refuse it? I feel so stupid and uneducated don't really know what I'm doing and just agreeing to everything. I'm even considering a c-section now Sad

When I was induced the pains turned out to be a positive sign that labour was approaching and starting

Yes, you can refuse any treatment offered to you. Ask what your options are if you can't handle the prostin. It doesn't work for everyone.

When I had the second one the pains got bad after that and I had some co-codamol at midnight. Not in too much pain now but my vag is sore and the thought of having another one of them again makes me want to cry.

Yes you can totally refuse. After my second pessary I was in agony and it fell out. They wanted to insert another. I refused as I was in so much pain but they didn't seem to take me seriously. If they'd have bothered to actually examine me they'd have realised I was in labour and fully dilated at that point. It may be that you are already well on your way. I would ask them to check and then ask what happens next if you refuse the prostin. Good luck and don't be afraid to tell them what you do or don't want Flowers
