Went into labour about 5 hours later (show was just before going to bed so told MrNC, labour started 4am), gave birth 36 hours after that.

Dc2 - no show at all, must have gone with my waters into the hospital car park mid-labour!

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me posting.

Had my bloody show at 10am this morning and now having tightening across stomach and uncomfortable feeling in legs.

Luckily have midwife appointment this afternoon (meant to have sweep as 40+6 today) so hopefully she'll be able to give me an idea of how long she thinks it might be until I go into full labour. Xx

Sounds like everything's kicking off. It won't be long now until you're holding your baby MrsLen! Smile

I had regular, noticeable pains coming from 9pm, got to hospital around 1am, (officially "not in established labour"), had a show in the shower sometime before 5am, rushed to delivery around 5.30am as I was 8cm dilated, DD arrived at 6.15am.

2nd time:Had show at 3am. Baby was born at 11:35pm.

But...

1st time: think I had a show but ended up being induced days later.

Don't think midwife believed me when I said I was in early la out until she did an internal check and I'm already 3cm dilated. She thinks I could have the baby within 24 hours unless they stop which is a possibility. Hopefully this won't happen given the time frames of pp.

Small bits came out over two weeks along with cramps then a huge bit when I went into labour (4 hour labour from start to finish so the looong prelabour was worth it).
